Months have passed since HTC One was introduced to the customers of smartphone market but the device did not actually arrives yet in stores due to components delays. This new handset was set to launch on few network operators in UK today that in fact not happen yet but in spite of this, it will come out with a microphone with no further delay as claimed by the manufacturer.
The Taiwanese company was already facing controversy over microphones availability of its new HTC One handset with Nokia. The reason behind this was that HTC has recently purchased HDR microphone pieces from a major European semiconductor corporation ST Microelectronics that sell parts only to Nokia due to an elite contract.
Owing to which, the Finnish firm has filed a ban against STM that has barred the company from selling the microphones to any company other than the Nokia for a certain time. This decision has disappointed HTC but the company is in talks with STM to find out alternatives solutions for this issue.
Meanwhile, the good news for the fans of HTC smartphones is that they do not have to face any further delay in the launch of HTC One as this issue will have no impact on the handset sales and the claim is made by the spokesperson of the company itself.
The judgment that comes against STM has also included that the Taiwanese Firm can continue to use the already purchased microphones from STM with its mobile phones.
HTC has further mentioned that in the demand of ban against STM by Nokia has no direct impact over the company itself since it will sell the already purchased microphones with its devices.
